Onboarding teams and users

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Overview

It's important to carefully consider which teams and individuals in your organization require access to specific features and functions. By determining what actions should be available to each user, you can help to ensure that everyone has the appropriate level of access and that sensitive information is kept secure. To manage user access, simply review the available settings and permissions and assign them to the appropriate teams and individuals as needed.

Use the template below to upload users in bulk.

Types of Users

There are three types of users on Spacewise

  • Admins - Have full access to all features (admins can only be assigned by other Admins or Spacewise)
  • Managers - Are responsible for a team and can edit all resources within that team.
  • Users - Can edit availabilities, invite tenants, and respond to messages and requests.

Onboarding Users

Onboarding users to Spacewise can be done the same way as onboarding tenants. There are three main ways, by asking users to sign up, sending out invitations from the platform, or inviting them by bulk. We will discuss the best option for the organization.

Administrator Team

All users with administrator rights are automatically part of the "Administrator" Team.

Custom Teams

In the Spacewise platform, teams are a powerful tool for creating effective work structures within your organization. By grouping and organizing users, and assigning buildings and listings to specific teams, you can streamline your workflows and improve collaboration. Teams also have ownership of properties and listings, providing a clear and organized way to manage your assets.
